The X8R is in a smaller package than its predecessor 8 channel receiver, but with much more capacity. The new SmartPort supports new hubless sensors and legacy hub analog sensors. X8R supports 8 standard servo outputs and you can access Sbus line with Sbus powered servos or all 16 channels using FrSky S.BUS decoder for full 16 channels. Or you can use 2 X8R receivers together and channels will sync 1-8 on the first and 9-16 on the second. The X8 protocol is also backward compatible! It works with DHT, DJT, DFT and DHT-U transmitter modules in D8 mode.
